14-01-25

🌲 The holiday season presents significant challenges for logistics and courier companies, with November and December marking a peak in demand. Black Week, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the days leading up to Christmas and New Year’s Day push the industry to its limits. To meet this surge, companies often extend working hours, redeploy staff, and innovate with services. 🟡 🔵 Nova Post Polska a Ukrainian logistics company expanding into the Polish market, stood out by offering free packaging and parcel pick-up services, even on Saturdays.

💥 The E-Commerce Boom 💥
Online shopping has reshaped consumer behavior, especially during the holiday season. In Poland, 79% of internet users made online purchases last year, with the country ranking among Europe’s leaders in e-commerce. This sector is expected to continue growing, with forecasts predicting an increase of 52 billion PLN by 2028, reaching over 192 billion PLN.

🦾 Adapting to Peak Season Demands
During peak season, logistics providers increase staffing by up to one-third, with couriers handling 100-150 parcels daily. Nova Post, a new player in Poland, drew from its two decades of experience across 16 European countries. Initially focused on delivering to Ukrainian refugees, the company rapidly expanded and now has 50 branches, two sorting centers in Warsaw and Głogów Małopolski, and 230 employees. By 2025, Nova Post plans to add 29 new branches and two more sorting centers in Poznań and Kraków, along with a fulfillment center in Warsaw.

❎ A Unique Value Proposition
Nova Post’s services, designed for both businesses and individual customers, include document and parcel delivery (up to 30 kg, with larger shipments up to 1,000 kg). The company also offers same-day deliveries within Poland and next-day services to cities like Berlin, as well as delivery to 16 countries, including Germany, France, and the UK. With convenient branch hours, operating seven days a week, and an intuitive app, Nova Post is committed to a seamless customer experience. Plans for the future include parcel storage, redirection services, and a cost calculator.

💡 Growing Footprint in Poland
Nova Post’s rapid growth reflects the booming Polish e-commerce market. By the end of 2024, the company had contributed 8.2 million PLN in taxes and delivered nearly 700000 parcels to and from Ukraine in December alone. With its customer-centric approach and innovative services, Nova Post is poised to become a key player in the Polish logistics market.
